All On Four

What is the All On Four Implant?

The All On Four implant is a procedure that allows a fixed dental prosthesis to be placed on the same day by anchoring it to four implants inserted at specific angles in completely edentulous (toothless) patients.

All On Four Implant with Prosthesis

This technique is applied to patients who have lost all their teeth or need to have them extracted, and who do not have sufficient bone in the posterior regions of the jaws. It is very important for patients to regain fixed teeth on the same day. Additionally, the patient must not have any medical condition that would prevent dental implant surgery and must have sufficient bone volume. If the patient lacks adequate bone structure, sinus lifting or bone grafting procedures are performed in our clinic.

What are the stages of All On Four treatment?

Patients planned for All On Four treatment must first undergo a detailed clinical and radiological examination at our clinic. Measurements are taken using a computed tomography (CT) scan to create a suitable treatment plan for the patient.

The All On Four procedure consists of two phases: surgical and prosthetic. On the day of treatment, four dental implants are placed according to the plan, and a temporary dental prosthesis is fixed onto the implants on the same day. After three months, permanent dental prostheses are made for the patient.

Will I have pain after the All On Four procedure?

As with other implant surgeries, some pain and swelling may occur after the procedure. However, these complaints can be easily managed with medications recommended by our experienced doctors.

How will my diet be after the All On Four procedure?

You can immediately start using your temporary dental prosthesis, which is fixed onto the implants after the operation. However, during the 2.5 to 3-month period in which the implants integrate with the bone, you must follow a diet recommended by your doctor. After this healing phase, you will be able to eat as you wish with your permanent prosthesis.
