All On Six
What is the All On Six Implant?
The All On Six implant is a treatment method that enables a fixed temporary prosthesis to be placed on the same day by positioning six dental implants at specific angles in completely edentulous (toothless) patients. This method is especially suitable for patients who have lost all their teeth or require extractions and have sufficient jawbone volume.
Thanks to All On Six, patients can receive fixed teeth on the same day with a single surgical procedure. However, the patient must be medically fit for dental implant surgery and have sufficient bone structure. If the bone volume is inadequate, advanced procedures such as sinus lifting or bone grafting can be performed in our clinic.
What are the stages of All On Six treatment?
A detailed clinical and radiological examination, including a CT scan, is conducted to evaluate bone structure and plan implant placement.
The treatment consists of two phases: surgical and prosthetic. In the surgical phase, six dental implants are placed, and a temporary fixed prosthesis is attached on the same day. After approximately 3 months, once the implants have integrated with the bone, permanent prostheses are placed.
Will I have pain after the All On Six procedure?
As with other implant surgeries, mild pain and swelling may occur after the procedure. However, these symptoms can be easily managed with the medications prescribed by our experienced doctors.
How will my diet be after the All On Six procedure?
With the temporary fixed prosthesis, patients can use their new teeth immediately after the procedure. However, during the 2.5 – 3 month healing period, when the implants are integrating with the bone, it is essential to follow a soft diet recommended by your doctor. Once this healing phase is complete, you can enjoy your meals freely with your permanent prosthesis.
